I’m picking up this book tag thanks to the always delightful Vicki and I hope you will check out her answers on her blog.
As December will soon be upon us it seems like a good time to review our reading plans to make it to the end of 2019.
Some of my reading challenges are looking woeful, but my Goodreads challenge is in surplus – I’m currently at 218 books for the year and am cautiously optimistic that I will make it to 250.
1. Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
There are so many books I have started not even this year and I need to finish. All things in good time. I hope.
2. Do you have an
autumnal summer book to transition you to the end of the year.
I know that technically it’s still spring here, but it has really felt like summer this month. I don’t do seasonal reads – Brisbane doesn’t really do proper seasons anyway.
3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Yes! Emma Viskic’s new Caleb Zelig book is out next week AND I’M SO EXCITED!
4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
Mainly because these are library books that need to go back! (But they should also be awesome).
5. Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
6. Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
You know it! I’m thinking I will keep challenges to a minimum next year and I’m also wanting to concentrate on books I own rather than library books. Library books are awesome but I’m getting a backlog and am going to continue doing so unless I force myself to read stuff I currently have. I could never do without my local library (love you folks, especially the lady who offered to help me carry all my books to the car last time).
What are your plans for the rest of this year? Let me know if you decide to do this tag so I can give you some love.
