Hi folks! Welcome to another instalment of #77Satruday!
Here are the rules if you would like to play along:
- Find a book – your current read, something on your TBR, whatever you like
- Turn to page 77 or 77% if you are on an ereader
- Find a snippet you like
- Share it and link back to AusYABloggers
Today’s snippet is coming from David Mogo Godhunter. I can’t remember where I first spotted this – perhaps someone from my book coven mentioned it – but it looks rad.

The room falls silent. For a beat, I think Papa Uni is going to go all Nigerian Father on me and rat me out to her, but he just chews and says nothing. Femi Onipede breathes and counts the tiles on the floor. It’s as if we’re all processing the weight of the storm that’s coming before deciding who’s going to go out and pack in all the clothes from the wash line.
This one has been described as “A Nigerian Harry Dresden”, and I’m really looking forward to reading it. Kobby over on instagram (I love his account!) reviewed this one recently and raved about it which pushed it up my TBR.
Are you participating in 77 Saturday?
Cheers,

This cover really catches my eye! I will definitely be looking into this book in the future. Thanks for sharing, Sue!
