Anon, who did not call himself Anon at the time, intervened. He took the whip from the foolish ruler’s hand and choked him to death with it. Then he declared that all who would restore the greatness of their people and free the skies of sin should rise up with him as the last shards of the true Altari civilisation. That was the moment the Kartami were born.

Well I’m not sure what I think of this – I love a good origin story but the throwing around of the word “sin” makes me a little trepidatious. I guess we will see.
