3 Days, 3 Quotes Day 2

We received another 3 Days 3 Quotes Nomination!! Thank you Maranda from The Librarian’s Toolbox. Make sure you check out her amazing blog!!

Rules to be followed:

  • 3 quotes each day
  • 3 nominees to be nominated (no repetition!)
  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Inform the nominees

Today’s quote comes from a book which I have just re-read; Eona by Alison Goodman, an Aussie author!

Eona is the sequel to Eon which i have recommended before. It follows the girl-turned-boy Eon in the struggle for her life and empire, while struggling with her own identity. While I do admit to wanting to slap some of the characters, it’s a really great story.

History does not remember the struggles of the individual. Only the outcome of their struggles.

3 days, 3 quotes tag Day 2

I have been nominated for the 3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge by the lovely Okoto Enigma – make sure you check out her blog here .

The Rules are:

  • Three quote for three days.
  • Three nominees each day (no repetition).
  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Inform the nominees.

One of my favourite quotes from something that I have been reading recently is

“The difference between the novice and the master is that the master has failed more times than the novice has tried.” – Anasatu Kyoishitsu or Assassination Classroom.

I’m not going to specify nominees for this challenge, but invite anyone who wants to participate to do so. Let me know in the comments so I can make sure I check out your posts!
